Since the discovery in the late 1970s that chlorofluorocarbons deplete stratospheric ozone, sales in the aerosol industry have suffered. Aeropres met this ecological and regulatory challenge by investing time and resources to expedite product reformulations from CFCs to NGL propellants in customer products. Today, Aeropres propellants are safe and offer no threat to the earth’s protective upper ozone layer.
With world economies expanding, the demand for energy products around the world is unprecedented. Volatility in price and supply of many energy related products is certain. Aeropres is the only aerosol propellant company to own an LP gas fractionator that is connected to a large underground natural gas field. Propellant supply for many years into the future is a guarantee that only Aeropres can provide to the aerosol customer base.
Over the past 30 years we have delivered more aerosol propellants than any other North American company. Our propellants have been delivered to 11 different countries in North America, South America, Asia, and the Middle East. Widely regarded as the country’s leading propellant supplier, Aeropres has maintained this position by keeping one goal in mind: produce a high-purity, superior quality product, sell it at a competitive price, and deliver it swiftly.
Blowing Agents
For over a decade, Aeropres has supplied hydrocarbon blowing agents to the polyurethane and polystyrene foam markets. These high-purity, odorless gases include isobutane, normal butane, propane, isopentane, and normal pentane. Blowing agents are available singly or in blend combinations. We have strong operational and service capabilities that allow us to act as a distributor for other specialty chemical blowing agents as well. Our sales representatives have a current listing of available products. Samples of any product blend in a variety of cylinder sizes and drums can be delivered quickly for research and development requirements.
Specialty Chemicals
Aeropres’ ability to meet high-purity, odorless NGL specifications has provided opportunities for growth in a wide variety of markets that use NGLs as feedstock for chemical applications. Our intense customer focus, high-quality products, and hard work have made our entry into these markets successful.
These applications include unique blends of refrigerants for repackagers who provide retailers in the sector. Aeropres also provides refrigerant grade propane for use in chilling equipment located within chemical production facilities.
Utilizing special production runs and segmented storage vessels, Aeropres provides ultra high-purity gases, which are sold by companies that repackage and sell as laboratory-standard gases used worldwide.
