Aeropres Corporation has once again been honored with Union Pacific Railroad’s Pinnacle Award, joining a record-setting field of 147 companies recognized for shipping hazardous materials with zero non-accident releases in 2024. The award, announced April 28, 2025, underscores Aeropres’ unwavering commitment to protecting the environment, employees, and the communities along Union Pacific’s 23-state network.
“Safety is at the core of everything we do,” said Kenny Rocker, Union Pacific’s executive vice president of Marketing & Sales, as he congratulated this year’s winners. “We are proud to partner with customers who prioritize the safe transportation of chemicals.”
The Pinnacle Award evaluates rail shippers on three pillars: robust release-prevention protocols, real-time corrective-action plans, and a perfect record of zero non-accident releases during the award year. Union Pacific’s Hazardous Materials Safety team complements those efforts with joint training programs, railcar inspections, and a four-pronged mission: Prevention, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery.
For Aeropres, this marks the fourth consecutive Pinnacle Award, following wins for shipments in 2021, 2022, and 2023. The streak reflects a safety culture that spans our production floors, logistics partners, and customer sites.
“Our customers count on us to deliver propellants safely every single time,” said Joe Bowen, President “Earning Union Pacific’s Pinnacle Award four years in a row validates the disciplined processes and caring people behind every Aeropres tank car.”
As we celebrate this milestone, we remain focused on continuous improvement—upgrading rail-car technology, expanding employee training, and collaborating with Union Pacific on best-in-class safety protocols. Because at Aeropres, delivering products is essential, but delivering them safely is non-negotiable.
